My paintings take you back in time.
We all have items from the past in our homes—an old photo, a plant table from grandma, grandpa’s clock. They create a cozy home. The past as a warm blanket you can wrap around yourself.
By hanging a nostalgic painting on the wall, you can pleasantly drift away for a moment to those good old days.
To achieve a beautiful soft appearance, I paint with sumi-e ink, originally a Chinese ink.
The ink is a solid stick made of plant-based carbon and glue. On a flat stone, you grind the stick into powder and mix it with a little water to create ink.

Each painting is unique and comes with a passe-partout, without a frame. The outer dimensions of the passe-partout are standard 30 × 40 cm.
